Awarded for Best Short Film in the Student Film category of Rajasthan International Film Festival
Jaipur. A student of JECRC University in Journalism and Mass Communication department name Ridhika Dayal Das made a film. The film has won the award for Best Student Film in student category. The film was awarded by the Rajasthan International Film Festival for Ridhika’s film ‘Dark Diary: The Story of an Uncommon Girl’. The film was the most talked about film in Riff Jaipur.

Ridhaka dedicated this award to her parents. In a special conversation with The Message, Ridhika Dayal Das says that she has written and directed this film. She came up with this idea three months ago. She worked on the first screenplay. After that, auditions were also taken to select the artists for the movie. The actors were selected only after several rounds of auditions.

The stars in the film were Palak Bansal, Ghudha Vyas, Muskan Kumawat, Rahul Nambiar and Shaurya Chaudhary, who are studying with her in the same college. Apart from this, Kaumudi and Rishabh have also played important roles in it. The film is now available on YouTube. Till now more than ten thousand people have watched this film.
Ridhika Dayal Das told that she had already made preparations before shooting for the film. She had already spoken the owners of the locales before start the shoot. Apart from this, planning was done at a very subtle level so that there would not be any problem while shooting. She said that shooting of the entire film was done within three days.
