As per Tellychakkar reports, the lead actor was spotted at the shoot location in a female avatar. He was seen wearing a red Kurti with a dupatta. He was also seen in a wig with long hair.
Going by the look, it seems that in the second instalment Khurrana will be seen portraying a female character this time also. In the first movie Dream Girl starring him and Nushrratt Bharuccha, he played a character of a guy who worked at a call centre and would speak to people in a female voice. The film gave a message that though we live with our families, we are lonely to share our feelings.
Meanwhile, Dream Girl 2 stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Pandey as leads and Paresh Rawal and Annu Kapoor in pivotal roles. The film was announced a week ago and it is slated to release on Eid Jube 29, 2023 in theatres.
On the work front, the 38-year-old actor was last seen in Anibhav Sinha’s ‘Anek’. He has Anubhuti Kashyap’s Doctor G and Action Hero in the pipeline.
